Blaine Ooksgiver Blows my mind that this album still holds up. The solos are incredible, the melodies are perfect and the speed of the album as a whole pushed new boundaries for the band sonically. Production wise the album is near perfect for me. Drums are heavy and fast.

This has been sitting on my Wishlist forever. "Demons" was the 1st album I ever put on my Wishlist a couple years back. Favorite track: Smoke and Mirrors.
Piper Haqim

Piper Haqim This entire album goes at a blistering pace and the solos, omg. THE SOLOS! It feels like a balancing act of melodeath and techdeath the entire album with the bar tilting slightly to either side at specific times but never going overboard. Favorite track: Smoke and Mirrors.

Rising A fear of unknowing and misinformation The death of indignation Pure ignorance Powers Force fed facts to deter the mind What's real? What is lies? When is our time to die? Serpent’s tongue Spitting poison When you look upon the mirror Can you face what you're blind to see? No more lies We won't survive If you read between the lines You'll see beyond the blindfold of our times Rising Hidden agenda. Battles of nations The death of care and reason Total War Powers Force Fed Facts to deter the mind What's real? What is lies? Now is our time to die! Living in fear We are more than this Civilisation was built under nations Of humans existing as one Serpent’s tongue Spitting poison When you look upon the mirror Can you face what you're blind to see? No more lies We won't survive If you read between the lines You'll see beyond the blindfold of our times [Solo - Benjamin Ellis] [Solo - Josh McMorran] Serpent’s tongue Spitting poison When you look upon the mirror Can you face what you can not see? No more lies We won't survive If you read between the lines You'll see beyond the blindfold of our times

Born A pure existence Untainted by others We go through time Ingesting negatives and lies But ask yourself... What is life? You must not hold your problems The time is up If you don't face the facts Your mind will erupt Mind over matter Trivial factors Control the storm Within the head You must cast into shadow All the hate and fear For a better tomorrow We won't be defeated The Consequence Complex controls Shaped thoughts of all will falter As your mind is filled And becomes altered Break free from the shackles of your mind And see the grand design Living Animosity is rife Journey of life Unfathomable pain Take from the positive Not negatives and lies With questions unanswered... This is life [Solo - Benjamin Ellis] [Solo - Josh McMorran] Mind over matter Trivial factors Control the storm Within the head You must cast into shadow All the hate and fear For a better tomorrow We won't be defeated The Consequence Complex controls Shaped thoughts of all will falter As your mind is filled And becomes altered Break free from the shackles of your mind And see the grand design

Behold! Behold your empire of ritual disdain With you the martyr king Crying out for the advent of change While clutching so tight to your invisible chains You keep your mouth shut for fear of judgement As soon as backs are turned you abandon your silence You’re a hypocrite and liar But you know this too well We are Unified in chains That hold us to the ground Content to blend with the crowd Mediocrity resounds Behold the signs of a fractured mind Now push it ’til it breaks So fucking used to denying yourself You know it must end But you do it so well I hold your world in the palm of my hand I’ll squeeze the life right out of you We are Unified in chains That hold us to the ground Content to blend with the crowd Mediocrity resounds We are Unified in chains That hold us to the ground Content to blend with the crowd Identity unfound [Lead - Benjamin Ellis] You say that we are Unified I say that we have lost control I refuse to accept that this is my only solution A broken machine that no one even tries to fix anymore I am sick of pretending that this is the only way for me This is not who I am meant to be… It’s meant to be [Solo - Benjamin Ellis] [Solo - Josh McMorran] We are Unified in chains That hold us to the ground Content to blend with the crowd Mediocrity resounds A time will come When this will be undone As all you thought you knew Turns out was never true And all that we are Returns to the start But I’ll welcome in the end To begin and grow again

I have a story to tell Living in my own hell Complications… Interrogations… Of my own thoughts Inadequacy to expectation Forever striving for what? How can you know what you want If you don't know yourself? In the vortex of thought My mind collides with my empathy Complexity of inadequacy Shaping the path that will be Pushing the limits Of human capacity Blind by self expectations A driving tenacity Standing still in the eye of the storm While everything’s torn apart A twisted sense of fascination How did you let it get this far? I’m at the edge of ruin Caving under the pressures that I put on myself In danger of burning out Complexities of my mind Failing to see the grand design Concerns for others thoughts Hindering me, my future diseased Pushing the limits Of human capacity Blind by self expectations A driving tenacity Standing still in the eye of the storm While everything’s torn apart A twisted sense of fascination How did you let it get this far? I’m at the edge of ruin Caving under the pressures that I put on myself In danger of burning out [Solo - Josh McMorran] [Solo - Benjamin Ellis]

Infinite life Recycled matter erupts Light reforms Planets are torn as power is formed From black hole devastation Time and space Recreation Infinite Beyond all comprehension The galaxy becomes part of a new dimension Beyond the realm of no light Foul species shall thrive Gravity's Force Aeon of endless creation Solar system’s source The Sun is god Our earth’s destiny out of our control Destruction of all worlds Collision of fire and planets Behold the death of everything The birth of a new beginning Infinity Beyond all comprehension The galaxy becomes part of a new dimension Beyond the realm of no light Foul species shall thrive As we return to the void From which we came Nothing will remain [Solo - Josh McMorran] [Solo - Benjamin Ellis] Infinite Beyond all comprehension The galaxy becomes part of a new dimension Beyond the realm of no light Foul species shall thrive As we return to the void from which we came Nothing will remain

Caught between your lack of empathy and callous greed The Human Void dominates me Caught in the boundaries of my mind All emotion declines Set yourself free From the plague of humanity Open the doors of your mind and leave Among the Human Void Existing without reason Living without ploy Vicariously live your life without compassion A grotesque trait of the human condition I can’t deny we all fall for it Yet we preach contradiction Hypocrites Soul destroyed Human Void We all fall into the void Catastrophe We all live an existence without care From sins absolved? Caught between your lack of empathy and callous greed The Human Void dominates me Caught in the boundaries of my mind All emotion declines Set yourself free From the plague of humanity Open the doors of your mind and leave Among the Human Void Existing without reason Living without ploy Life without compassion Will lead to our extinction I won’t deny and embrace it In the blink of an eye, we are just hypocrites Soul destroyed Human Void We all fall into the void Catastrophe We all live an existence without care From sins absolved? Human Human void Shallow and Callous We exploit Burn it all [Solo - Josh McMorran] [Solo - Benjamin Ellis] Burn it all This failing society Through self absorption we damned ourselves into nether We are beyond salvation

You close your eyes and try to recall But can only glimpse the splintered pieces of the whole Try to catch them and they drift out of sight The Image Faded Unclear after all this time Begin scrabbling for inspired fiction Subconscious fabricates a distorted scene of the story you left behind Living your life in a dream Of the day that never comes A fantasy so clear Only to wake and find… … Nothing can live up to this The images in your head Start to believe it and you’re losing your grip Addicted to a made up world Now indifferent to your waking life You pray for endless night Keep your head in the clouds and your life will pass you by Living your life in a dream Of the day that never comes A fantasy so clear Only to wake and find it never was With every sleep you return To the day that never comes But always wake to find it never was [Lead - Benjamin Ellis] [Guest Solo - Teemu Mäntysaari] [Guest Solo - Per Nilsson] [Solo - Benjamin Ellis] [Guest Solo - Andy James] [Solo - Josh McMorran] [Guest Solo - Christopher Amott] Living your life in a dream Of the day that never comes A fantasy so clear Only to wake and find it never was With every sleep you return To the day that never comes But always wake to find it never was

So many things I can’t remember Too many things I can’t forget The thoughts that keep me awake and plague me with regret A constant reminder of mistakes I cannot escape A wretched ache that never leaves The scars unseen Caught in the shadow of a memory My mind’s my enemy My mind’s my enemy These Demons They’re haunting me - They’re all I see These Demons Threaten with destiny - It’s changing me Can’t say you didn’t see it coming And now you’re losing this war You’re the only one in it now… The others have moved on So stop saving face and start saving your soul Can’t keep living this way Won’t dull this pain Stop trying to fight it alone Now let these Demons go Let these Demons go! Go! These Demons They’re haunting me - They’re all I see These Demons Threaten with destiny - It’s changing me [Solo - Benjamin Ellis] These Demons They’re haunting me - They’re all I see No more will Demons be haunting me I set them free
